Q. So how do you improve profitability and turn salespeople into great FSA administrators?
A. FSA Automotive's Showroom Manager Process.
FSA Compliance Consulting
A consultant will visit your dealership and provide on-site advice and guidance on becoming FSA compliant, consulting on implementing FSA procedures and processes in your business.
These visits would be tailored individually for your specific needs. To achieve and maintain compliance an FSA procedure should be an integral part of your sales process and management culture.
FSA Compliance Health Check
Since 14th January 2005, when the regulator first imposed legislation on our industry, many dealerships have implemented FSA processes and feel that they are compliant. Understanding of the FSA has evolved and many original processes implemented are now found to be obsolete and not conducive to achieving maximum return for your investment in FSA registration. An FSA Automotive consultant will conduct a one day on-site compliance audit and review your processes to not only give you a high-level overview of any areas which you need to develop but will also identify any areas of concern which may lead to complaint or FSA compliance failure and highlight your opportunity to increase revenue.
This review would consist of a consultant visiting your site and reviewing your current FSA position in respect of the requirements of Senior Management Systems and Controls (SYSC), Training & Competence, Insurance Conduct of Business (ICOB) and the topical issues of the reporting requirements (RMAR), financial promotions, Initial Disclosure Documents, FSA sales process procedures on the showroom floor, complaints handling and claims handling.
Mystery Shopping
This service is designed to test your sales process to ensure compliance. A trained consultant would visit your dealership anonymously as a potential customer with a view to experience the sales process on purchasing a car and relevant insurance products. A full report would be completed for the authorised person that will highlight any shortfalls or potential rule breaches in the sales process and provide appropriate recommendations. The FSA will be using Mystery shopping as one of the tools deployed in monitoring regulated Automotive Dealers during 2007 and this service is a good way of demonstrating to the regulator your company's commitment to FSA compliance.
RMAR Reporting
Completing RMAR report for your dealership using FSA Automotive's RMAR template, designed by our industry experts for use in our industry.
